It’s been a very long horrific week for all of us especially for poor Hot Shot and his family. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of those for their concerns, many loving notes to Sonja and to David Carrington for coming up with this idea and to our Association Treasurer Fred Trussell for setting up the fund. His injuries are horrendous and it will take many more visits to the vet, and least one more surgery and many, many meds, which will run into the thousands of dollars in doctor bills. None of us could possibly be ready at an instant or even be prepared for such a financial burden, so that’s why we are asking anyone that can make a donation, no matter how small. So please, please help out, give what you can to help this little guy and hopefully offset these expensive treatments and the Waldrop family in this time of need. It will certainly go a long way in helping them cope and focus all of their attention on getting Hot Shot better. What you give will be very much appreciated and a gift that they desperately need right now. Please see the different methods of making your donation below.

Little League Umpires
NSR: Good Morning, I have been appointed as the Chief Umpire for Zia Little League for the 2015 season. I am recruiting for those that would have some spare time and wouldn't mind calling a game a week. I will need both plate umpires and field umpires. Some training will be provided as well as protective equipment for behind the plate. Great easy opportunity to get out and give back to the community and help those awards packages for Airman of the Quarter etc. Will umpire all the way from T-Ball up to 16 year olds (Junior League). Please send me a PM if interested or reply to post.
